Cefn Fforest Miners Institute – Work in Progress …

Just less than a year since I visited “The Stute” at the start of its renovation.  Since then a lot has happened including achieving of charitable status and of course a lot of hard graft from the volunteers!!

Roofs have been repaired, wallpaper and artex removed,  a huge amount of rubbish removed,  ceilings repaired and the now the team are working on re-instating the old patio and entrance steps.

Remarkable work, sweat and tears and even blood in the last few days so I’m told!

Some way to go yet for sure but a lot achieved so far, and with the energy and spirit being shown by the team, the final result will be amazing I’m sure!!
